How to Detox ? Know My Detox Secrets
The topic of today is detoxing. The fame of celery I’ve been asked many times how I detox. In the past there are particular ways I did it, but I’m always open-minded and I want to learn new things. I heard about this trend, and there are trends that are worth trying that will help my health–be it mental or physical, as long as it doesn’t go against my core beliefs. It’s trending, it’s all over the internet, and it’s the celery juice craze. The vegetable that I hate I’m going to be totally honest. I detest celery. I’ve never drank its juice because I never buy it in my house. I’m a plant based person for years but I just honestly do not care for celery. You cannot dislike something, then switch and end up liking it. Even though I still don’t like to eat it nor the taste of it, it is amazing for detoxing. Today I’m going to tell you exactly why. This isn’t over exaggeration. Some people want to get others hyped but it’s just click-bait. It’s not. This is really true. I’m not going to lie because I can be held accountable. Too many to mention There are so many benefits of celery juice, but here are the basic ones: 1) Known to help acid reflux 2) Fight autoimmune disease 3) Help restore adrenals 4) They flush out toxins in the liver 5) Eradicates strip bacteria 6) It helps people to lose weight because it’s a natural diuretic 7) Helps prevent insomnia 8) Good for clearing up skin 9) Good for overall detox and there are no negative side effects 10) Helps ease/prevent inflammation The list goes on. Not in 20 minutes I knew all about these going in but I wasn’t sure what was going to happen to myself if I tried it. The thing with natural remedies is they tend not to work that quick considering the average person has no patience. We want Advil and we want the headache to go away in 20 minutes. Whenever we have a problem, we don’t want to deal with it. We want a fast result. Typically with natural remedies, they take longer and you have to do them consistently for longer, but you will find good effects. The results I had in my 7 days: DAY 1. Nothing special. I had good movement. Nothing huge that I observed, but I felt fine. DAY 2. Had a lot of energy. It’s not even placebo effect– the idea of it being all psychological. I’m such a busy person and I’m never not-moving and doing stuff. About three quarters of the day, I’m having a lot of energy than usual. I was trying to track down what I did differently from my regular routine that could’ve caused it. Then I realized I had juice. DAY 3. Feeling generally good. DAY 4. I paid more attention to it scientifically because I was just feeling mentally happy. I also have my own morning routine which really helps me be in the positive mindset–even if I feel horrible when I wake up I could switch it all around. But I just feel more amazing than usual. I began to realize why. I also noticed my leg because I do workouts and I had a very serious injury where I had an ankle breakage. It’s always inflamed, and even though I had it for years, it’s something that I always deal with. Chronic inflammation: gone! Day 4 and gone! No matter what I’ve tried before– like different foods, but never that quickly. DAY 5. Please note that sometimes when you go on detox, you get sick. And I’m a person who rarely ever gets sick, and when I do it’s my fault because I don’t sleep, I get into these really busy schedules, or I’ve neglected something. Typically I never get sick, but with this celery detox, it’s the weirdest sickness I’ve ever had. It’s all confined to my nose and usually when I have some type of sinus issue, I typically don’t feel well on the top of my head, too. I feel weighed down, pounding headache, and some sort of pressure. But it was different. I had clogged nose but I felt so good from the top of my body and all around, that it was just like an isolated sickness to my nose. DAY 6. DAY 7. I really had good mental clarity. I was just clear and sharp. In brief In a nutshell here’s what happened to myself: 1- I lost all chronic inflammation problems on my leg. 2- I had a flatter stomach because I had regular movement. 3- I had complete mental clarity. 4- I had gotten sick as part of detoxing, but very minimal. 5- I had high energy. 6- Mental mood was high across the board and every day consistently good. 7- It works fast. So if you’re looking for something fast, and something that makes you good overall–mentally, physically, and eventually spiritually if you do this consistently, then this something to try. What’s the trick? Right after waking up in the morning, drink 16oz celery juice. The trick is, it has to be first thing in the morning. Don’t add lemon or water; just press it in the juicer.
